Exciting development opportunities for IBA International Technical Officials and potential R&J Evaluators and Instructors

January 18th, 2024 / IBA Courses

IBA is extremely excited to announce the second ITO/R&J Evaluator/Instructor course aimed at developing our best personnel who have the potential and practical ability to become a high-level official and educator. We are mindful that Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is key to the success of our organization, particularly those officials who are keen to progress and to broaden their own career horizons. IBA understands the need and requirements across all Confederations in respect to officials’ development. IBA is extremely keen to support this work, and the aspirations linked to our future world class education and development program.

As proof of concept, the second course will be held in Assisi, Italy at the European Boxing Academy from February 26th to March 3rd, 2024, whereby nominated candidates from the senior cohort of IBA 3-Star Referee and Judges will be invited to attend the course to enhance our workforce and evaluation/instructional capability.

Please note that IBA 3-Star R&Js who wish to be considered, must meet the following preference criteria.

Those officials who may be interested are encouraged to complete the online form that can be found here. Potential participants will be also required to go through a series of vetting and experience checks, along with interviews for those who may be considered.

We kindly remind all the interested parties that all IBA Educational Courses are free of charge. However, all accommodation and travel expenses should be covered by the National Federation the official is affiliated with or by participants themselves.
