Information for Whistle-blowers
One of the main IBA objectives specified in the IBA Constitution is to combat doping and integrity issues that might damage the sport and reputation of boxing.
Please help us protect the clean boxers and the integrity of the sport of boxing. Every time someone steps forward with information on any breach of the IBA Constitution and the Regulations, we move closer to a clean and fair the sport of boxing.
We know that coming forward with sensitive information is a big decision – one that you would not enter into lightly. We applaud the courage and conviction required to raise concerns about cheating and significant breaches.
You have chosen to put your trust in us and we take this very seriously. This application form on IBA website will secure a way for you to report activity that you think goes against the IBA Constitution and the Regulations, including Anti-doping Regulations.
What can be reported
You may report any alleged violation of the IBA Constitution and the Regulations or any act or omission that could undermine the fight against bad faith behavior in boxing.
IBA wishes to have information about any kind of violation, especially such as anti-doping violation, manipulation with the result of boxing bouts, illegal betting, bribery, corruption, or any other serious violations.
Anyone can report misconduct. If you have detected, identified, witnessed or know of, or have reasonable grounds for suspecting that violation has occurred, we encourage you to let us know.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is of utmost concern to IBA. Your submission will be forwarded directly to the Chairman of the IBA Disciplinary Committee and the Chairman IBA Ethics Committee. IBA internal staff will not have an access to the provided information.
To ensure that the information you send us is private, we suggest that you follow these guidelines:
- Submit your application through this application form.
- File your report from your personal computer
- Do not use a PC that is connected to a network/intranet
- Choose whether or not you wish to leave your personal details, if not, you should also check that your personal details do not appear in the file properties (metadata) of any files you upload
