Competitions Committee
The Competitions Committee deals with regulatory and operational aspects related to IBA competitions.
It develops IBA Technical and Competitions Rules, proposes new rules and/or amendments to existing rules and drafts the calendar for IBA competitions. It reviews the sporting aspects of competitions, encourages the development of events that promote boxing worldwide, manages equipment and uniforms issues, and implements the IBA Scoring and R&J management systems.
It includes ten or more members: the chairperson of the competition committee from each Confederation, at least two persons with expertise in the organization of boxing competitions, one former boxer, one former coach and one former competition official.
