Watch IBA NOMAD 14 showdown live from Almaty

Almaty, Kazakhstan — The atmosphere in Almaty intensified on Friday as fighters completed the official weigh-in and final face-offs for IBA NOMAD 14 ahead of Saturday’s event at Almaty Arena. Following the final pre-fight procedures, all scheduled fighters are now set for one of the most anticipated combat sports cards of the spring.

The tournament marks the live debut of the new IBA–Nomad Fighting partnership and will begin at 17:00 local time (14:00 CET), with the action streamed live on the official IBA YouTube channel.

The main event will see Zhuman “Arlan” Zhumabekov (Kazakhstan) face Rosa Freire Lewandowski (Brazil) in a high-profile rematch, while Isa “Tandovskiy” Isaev (Russia) and Vasif Abbasov (Kazakhstan) are set to meet in a lightweight title fight.

The card also features former UFC fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov (Kazakhstan) competing on home soil and the return of Arman Ashimov (Kazakhstan), adding further weight to an event that blends established names, title stakes and crossover appeal.

Rather than leaning on hard-to-verify remarks from the stage, the clearest conclusion from Friday’s weigh-in is that the show is now ready for fight night. With the formalities complete, IBA NOMAD 14 moves from anticipation to action in front of an Almaty crowd expected to witness one of the boldest events yet under the new partnership between IBA and Nomad Fighting.
