Smyaglikov and Surov to clash at IBA.PRO 21 in Brest on 25 October
IBA.PRO will return to Belarus on 25 October, with Brest hosting the 21st edition of the series at the Viktoria Sports Club.
The international card features athletes from Belarus, Serbia, Russia, Cuba, Armenia, Uzbekistan and South Africa, combining professional boxing with crossover contests. The event will be held with the support of the Belarusian Boxing Federation and will be broadcast live on the Match TV network.
Teymuraz Surov (SRB) and Vladislav Smyaglikov (BLR), a finalist at the 2019 European Games and the 2024 BRICS Games who also competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the 2021 and 2025 World Championships, will meet over six rounds at heavyweight.
Both boxers already have one IBA.PRO victory to their name. Surov stopped compatriot Bekhan Israilov at IBA.PRO 17 in Ufa in April, while Smyaglikov defeated Dimuntu Shapito (COD) by decision at IBA.PRO 5 in Brest in May 2025. Surov, who represents Serbia in the professional ring, claimed bronze at the Russian National Championships in Saransk in September, and is the brother of 2025 World Champion and 2026 European Champion David Surov.
Two-time Russian champion, 2026 Russian Cup winner and 2023 World Championships participant Igor Sviridchenkov and Belarus’s Viktar Murashkin will also meet, in a six-round contest at 71kg.
The 25-year-old Sviridchenkov made his professional debut in October 2025, recording two victories within a month. The 33-year-old Murashkin brings greater professional experience, having previously shared the ring with opponents including Vadim Tukov, Gleb Bakshi and Andrey Sirotkin.
The card also features Alexander Rodionov (BLR) against Victor Perez (CUB) at 66.7kg, and Alik Hovhannisyan (ARM) against Leo Careri (RSA) at 79.4kg, both over six rounds, while Arina Danilchik (BLR) and Sevinch Khurramova (UZB) will contest a four-round bout at 69.9kg.
Crossover action rounds out the card, with Alexander Nekrash (BLR) facing Shoxrux Ilhomov (UZB) in a four-round MMA contest at 90kg, and Vladislav Novitsky (BLR) meeting Erik Khachatryan (ARM) over three MMA rounds at 69.9kg.
Also on the card, legendary grappler and MMA veteran Jeffrey Monson — a multiple ADCC Submission Wrestling champion who holds both Russian and American citizenship — is scheduled to compete against Ivan Sholtoianu (MDA) in a four-round contest at over 90.7kg, with two-minute rounds.
IBA Secretary General & CEO Chris Roberts OBE looks forward to a high-calibre night of international action: “The return of IBA.PRO to Belarus reinforces our mission to provide elite athletes with genuine, world-stage competitive opportunities. IBA.PRO 21 brings together a truly diverse international roster, pairing high-level traditional boxing with thrilling crossover bouts.
“With standout contests including Vladislav Smyaglikov against Teymuraz Surov, and Igor Sviridchenkov against Viktar Murashkin, this card highlights our dedication to testing emerging talent against seasoned opposition. We look forward to another electric night in Brest as we continue to push the boundaries of combat sports,” Roberts said.
