24 women and 25 men semi-final bouts of the 73rd Strandja Memorial Tournament were held in Sofia, Bulgaria on February 25. Boxers from Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Denmark, Bulgaria, Algeria,Ireland, Serbia, Russian boxing Federation, Germany, Panama, India, Italy, Lithuania proved their high level and deserved to compete for gold medals of the tournament.
Record number of 368 female and male boxers are attending the 73rd edition of the Strandja Memorial Tournament. The new edition of the Strandja is a testing event of the new World Boxing Tour launched by the International Boxing Association.
