National Federations now have until 10 November 2026 to register their delegates for the 2026 Ordinary Election Congress of the International Boxing Association (IBA), which will take place in a hybrid format in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 5 December 2026.

The registration deadline has been extended to accommodate those last few National Federations, which now closes at 18:00 Central European Time (CET) on 10 November. The Congress will be held immediately after the inaugural IBA President’s Cup, which runs in Istanbul from 25 November to 4 December 2026.

Each National Federation may register a maximum of one Voting Delegate and two Non-Voting Delegates. Federations are asked to complete all requested fields, ensure that delegates’ names match their passports exactly and clearly identify their Voting Delegate.

Three documents must be uploaded as part of the registration: a valid and readable passport copy with at least six months’ validity from December 2026, an ID-style photograph with a white background, and the National Federation’s appointment letter for its delegates.

The IBA thanks all National Federations and delegates who have already completed their registration. They will be contacted separately regarding further logistical arrangements.

In accordance with Article 15.5 of the IBA Constitution, the IBA will arrange and cover, where possible, reasonable economy-class air travel, accommodation and meals exclusively for the Voting Delegate of each National Federation attending the Ordinary Congress. Voting Delegates are therefore requested to liaise directly with the IBA International Relations Department.
