President Kremlev agreed with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to host IBA events as part of EXPO 2027 in Belgrade

International Boxing Association (IBA) President Umar Kremlev visited the Serbian capital, where he met with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to reach a historic agreement in hosting a series of major IBA events in Belgrade as part of EXPO 2027.
Serbian Boxing Federation President Nenad Borovčanin and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the organization, Adam Bajramović welcomed President Kremlev. The main topic of discussion was the inclusion of boxing in the program of EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade under the slogan “Play for Humanity.”
The EXPO 2027 program will include both IBA.Pro professional boxing show and IBA Bare Knuckle event.
“We met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Belgrade to discuss one of the most large-scale events of the decade – EXPO 2027. Belgrade will host championship fights for both IBA.Pro and Bare Knuckle titles. Infrastructure preparations are already underway at the very highest level, and I am sure it will be the most prestigious EXPO ever, as well as the best tournaments in IBA history,” said IBA President Umar Kremlev.
EXPO 2027 will run for 93 days, from 15 May to 15 August 2027. More than 120 countries will participate in the event, and Belgrade will become a hub for global ideas, innovation, and international sporting unity during this period.

This is a tremendous honor and recognition of Serbia’s role as a country of sport, strength, and unity,” said Nenad Borovčanin, President of the Serbian Boxing Federation.
