The International Boxing Association returns to Saint Petersburg on March 12 with IBA Pro 15, a packed night of professional boxing featuring international matchups, rising prospects and a high-stakes main event between Pavel Sosulin and Victor Nagbe.
On the eve of the fights, the traditional official weigh-in ceremony took place, where all participants successfully made weight and faced off for the final time before stepping into the ring.
The evening program begins at 17:00 (Moscow time) and includes nine bouts, building step by step toward the main event.
17:00 — Jamshid Khudayberganov vs Svetoslav Teterin
The action begins with a six-round bout between Uzbekistan’s Jamshid Khudayberganov and Russia’s Svetoslav Teterin, opening the evening and setting the rhythm for the fights ahead.
Teterin is considered a serious threat in the heavyweight division. A four-time runner-up at the Russian Championships and a Military World Champion, he is known for relentless pressure and knockout power in both hands.
17:30 — Abel Lima vs Sergey Koldenkov

The second fight of the night brings together Sergey Koldenkov and Cuban opponent Abel Lima in an early international matchup on the card.
This bout is not only a clash between two talented young fighters, but also a classic battle between two of the strongest boxing schools in the world, as Russia meets Cuba inside the ring.
18:00 — Aime “Avatar” Malungilua vs Eduard Savvin
Local favorite Eduard Savvin enters the ring against Namibian knockout specialist Aime “Avatar” Malungilua, whose aggressive style and finishing power promise an explosive contest.
Malungilua arrives with a dangerous reputation — all nine of his professional victories have come by knockout. Savvin, however, brings the pedigree of a decorated amateur and a refined technical style that has repeatedly forced opponents to adjust once the fight begins.
“Camp was great, everything’s going according to plan. Got a guy from Congo next. I know his record: 11 fights, 9 wins, 9 KOs. We’re ready to work. I’m just getting started in the pros, so it’s all about leveling up the opposition from here,” Savvin said.
“I checked out some of his tape. Nothing I haven’t seen before. He brings the pressure. He’s finished everyone he’s beaten, so we’ll be ready.”
18:30 — Dastan Saaduly vs Tamerlan Ozdoev

Next up is a regional clash between Tamerlan Ozdoev and Kazakhstan’s Dastan Saaduly, two fighters representing neighboring boxing schools.
19:30 — Yusup Changalave vs Georgiy Kushitashvili
The final bout of the preliminary card sees Yusup Changalave take on Georgiy Kushitashvili in an eight-round contest before the start of the main card.
Kushitashvili enters the fight with an outstanding amateur pedigree, having won the European Championships and claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships. His opponent, Changalave, brings greater professional experience and a reputation for heavy hands, but Kushitashvili is confident that will not be a problem.
“He’s a good opponent. We met this morning — had a bit of a misunderstanding at first, but then we cleared it up. It’s all good. He’s technically sound, definitely has that amateur background. We respect everyone we face,” Kushitashvili said.
“At the official weigh-ins, I reached out to shake his hand, but he just gave me the cold shoulder and squared up with his fists. I was like, ‘Alright then.’ But later in the cafeteria I approached him again, and he actually gave me a hug. I guess he thawed out.”
“Yeah, I’ve watched a few rounds of his tape to see what he’s all about. Seems like a good guy, honestly. He’s got the right mindset.”
20:00 — Vakhtang Harutunian vs Nikita Kuzmin

The main card opens with Armenia’s Vakhtang Harutunian facing Nikita Kuzmin in a six-round IBA Pro rating bout.
“Nikita, I’m coming to your country to secure a victory. Be prepared for a titanic pressure from me, and I promise that every round of our fight will be a very tough test for you!” said Harutunian.
Kuzmin responded confidently to his opponent’s message.
“Vakhtang, firstly, you underestimate the level of my previous opponents. And I want to thank you for revealing your plan for our fight. What a great guy! I’m looking forward to seeing the puzzled look on your face when you realize that your pressure simply doesn’t work, because being under pressure is what I do best,” Kuzmin said.
20:30 — Nurtas Azhbenov vs Ilya Popov

Ilya Popov (3-0), the reigning amateur world champion, faces Kazakhstan’s Nurtas Azhbenov (14-1) in one of the most anticipated matchups of the evening and a significant step up in competition for the Russian prospect.
20:30 — Vacant WBA Asia title, Ulugbek Sobirov vs Vladimir Mironchikov

The co-main event features a championship clash between Vladimir Mironchikov (7-0, 6 KOs) and Ulugbek Sobirov (17-5, 10 KOs) for the vacant WBA Asia title.
Sobirov arrives confident after facing strong opposition throughout his career.
“I’m 100 percent ready. I’ve been watching my opponent — he is good, but I’m ready to claim the belt,” Sobirov said.
“I’ve faced many experienced boxers, and this fight might be even easier than my bout against Pavel Silyagin. I’ll do my best to win.”
For Mironchikov, the fight represents the first title opportunity of his professional career.
“This fight means a lot to me because this is the first title shot in my career,” Mironchikov said.
“I’m really excited, but I don’t feel any extra pressure. I predict that I will secure a spectacular victory.”
22:00 — Main event, Victor Nagbe vs Pavel Sosulin

The night culminates with WBA No. 1 contender Pavel Sosulin (12-0, 6 KOs) facing Victor Nagbe, who accepted the challenge on short notice but brings serious credentials into the ring.
Nagbe is a highly decorated kickboxer and holds a professional boxing record of 12 wins, including 6 by knockout, and just two narrow losses.
Despite fighting away from home, Nagbe believes the opportunity could change his career.
“Pavel is strong, always comes forward and he is a heavy hitter,” Nagbe said.
“My win here will bring me to the number one spot in WBA to face the champion Xander Zayas. I believe I’ll give everything I got when I get there. And I will look for a fast finish.”
With the opening bell scheduled for 17:00, Saint Petersburg is set for a full evening of action culminating in a high-stakes main event.
