IBA.Pro 7 to feature great line-up of boxers in Istanbul at the backdrop of a bold Golden Era announcement

July 1st, 2025 / IBA.Pro

The final schedule has been set up and all boxers are primed and ready for IBA.Pro 7 Champions’ Night on 2 July in Rixos Tersane Istanbul. The main event sees Albert Batyrgaziev defend his WBA Interim and IBA Pro World super-featherweight titles against James ‘Jazza’ Dickens from the UK.

Batyrgaziev was last seen engaging in a wildly exciting encounter with Argentina’s Neri Ariel Cruz Romero. Dickens is reaping the rewards of an upset win in February over Zelfa Barrett.

Joining the main eventers on this IBA.Pro 7 card will be Armenia’s heavy-handed Hovhannes Bachkov, who now faces late-replacement opponent Xolisani Ndongeni. The South African road warrior steps in for Shohjahon Ergashev after the former world title challenger pulled out injured.

Cruiserweight debutant Ahmad Mustafayev will open the show against Uzbekistan’s Madiyar Saydrakhimov, while Tajikistan’s Mizhgona Samadova goes in with Iran’s Puneh Akhundtabarmazandarani over six rounds at 57kg.

A second female bout sees Turkey’s Gulsum Tatar face Kazakh veteran Milana Safronova, also over six round in 63.5kg weight category.

In two bare knuckle battles, Turkish star Murat ‘Lord Pitbull’ Kazgan and USA veteran Will ‘The Kill’ Chope go at it. They have Elnur Suleymanov from Azerbaijan and Mikhail Kokhanchik from Kazakhstan for company in another three-round bout.

The raft of talent in the ring will be joined by an abundance of stars in attendance at ringside. Former unified World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will be present, along with Roy Jones Jr, Terence Crawford and many more, including supermodel Naomi Campbell.
