On International Women’s Day, the IBA joins the global community in celebrating the strength, determination and achievements of women around the world.

In boxing, women continue to play an increasingly important role — inside the ring and beyond it. Women demonstrate exceptional courage, discipline and talent, inspiring new generations of boxers and showing the world the true spirit of our sport. Their dedication and performances raise the level of competition and contribute greatly to the global growth of boxing.

At the same time, many women contribute to the sport as coaches, referees and judges, doctors, managers and leaders, helping to guide and support athletes on their journey in each and every country as well as internationally. Your experience, knowledge and passion help shape the future of boxing and strengthen our boxing family.

IBA is proud to see the continued development of women’s boxing and remains committed to creating more opportunities for athletes to compete, succeed and inspire others around the world. We will always stand firmly for equality, respect and the rights of women in our sport.
