Adem Kilicci provisionally suspended for positive doping test

In accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules the International Boxing Association has provisionally suspended boxer Adem Kilicci with immediate effect after he tested positive for a substance included on the WADA Prohibited List following his match against Artem Chebotarev in Istanbul on January 23, 2015.

The 28-year-old boxer tested positive for tamoxifen following the analysis of a urine sample collected in accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules and the World Anti–Doping Code. The Boxer and the Turkish Boxing Federation have been notified about the findings. The matter is being dealt with in accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules.
