National Federations can continue registering their boxers for the inaugural IBA President’s Cup, taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 25 November to 4 December 2026, featuring a total prize fund of $3 million. The registration deadline for National Federations is 2 November 2026, while individual participation requests must be submitted by 30 October 2026.

The tournament marks the launch of IBA Elite, a new international competition platform bringing together eligible amateur and professional boxers.

It will also initiate a new IBA World Ranking cycle, with results contributing directly to qualification for future editions of the President’s Cup and the IBA World Championships.

“Our objective is clear: to give boxers more opportunities to compete at the highest level, to reward sporting achievement, and to create a pathway in which performance matters”, said IBA President Umar Kremlev in his welcome address to participating delegations.

To support teams in their preparations, the official IBA President’s Cup 2026 Team Delegations Handbook is now available.

The document provides comprehensive guidance on competition regulations, registration procedures, weight categories, prize money, accreditation, accommodation, and medical requirements.
