Rising prospect Rogozin and former world title challenger Egorov added to IBA.PRO 19 card in Moscow

Two Russian boxers at different stages of their professional journeys will look to strengthen their positions on July 11 as Vyacheslav Rogozin and Alexey Egorov step into the ring at IBA.PRO 19 in Moscow. The event will bring together established contenders, rising prospects and world-class talent for one of the strongest boxing cards of the year.

Rogozin (35-3, 7 KOs), one of Russia’s promising young fighters in the bantamweight divisions, will face Filipino opponent RV Deniega (12-3, 8 KOs) in a six-round bout at 53.5 kg. The contest presents another important step in the development of the Russian boxer, who continues to build momentum and gain valuable professional experience.

Standing opposite him will be a fighter representing one of boxing’s traditional powerhouses. The Philippines has long produced elite competitors in the lower weight categories, and Deniega arrives in Moscow determined to use his experience to upset the local favourite.

While Rogozin seeks to continue his ascent, Alexey Egorov (13-3, 9 KOs) enters IBA.PRO 19 with different objectives. The former world title challenger remains one of the most recognised names in Russian cruiserweight boxing and will take on compatriot David Dzukaev (11-0, 7 KOs) in a ten-round rating contest at 90.7 kg.

For Egorov, the bout represents an opportunity to reaffirm his status among the country’s leading cruiserweights and move closer to another major title opportunity. Dzukaev, meanwhile, faces the biggest test of his professional career and has the chance to secure a breakthrough victory against one of the division’s most experienced competitors.

The two matchups showcase the depth of Russian boxing, bringing together athletes pursuing different goals but sharing the same ambition to move their careers forward on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

IBA.PRO 19 will feature a packed lineup of international contests, including championship and title-eliminator bouts, culminating in the main event between Murat Gassiev and Tony Yoka. The card will also include the WBA world title clash between Muslim Gadzhimagomedov and Julio Cesar La Cruz, underlining the significance of the Moscow event for professional boxing.
