Abdyrakhmanov and Kadiev to headline IBA Bare Knuckle 5 in Moscow

IBA Bare Knuckle 5 will take place at CSKA Arena in Moscow on 27 June, bringing another international fight night to one of the city’s major sporting venues. Jon Jones, one of the greatest fighters in UFC history, will appear as a special guest and co-host of the evening.

The main event will feature a rematch between WBL world boxing champion Samat Abdyrakhmanov (Kyrgyzstan) and Islam Kadiev (Russia), winner of the Nashe Delo Grand Prix and a finalist of the second season of Alf Reality. Their first fight left questions unanswered, and the two will now meet again on a major international stage.

The co-main event will also be a rematch, as Shodruz “The Italian” Davlatov (Tajikistan), one of the most experienced bare knuckle fighters on the card with an 8–2 record, faces Magomed Amagaev (Russia), the HFC champion who also holds an 8–2 record in the discipline.

One of the most intriguing bouts of the night will see Tigran “Brooklyn” Matevosyan (Armenia) take on Abdurakhman Abdurakhmanov (Kyrgyzstan). Matevosyan is a professional boxer and Force Grand Prix winner, while Abdurakhmanov is a Hype Reality champion and one of the notable names from a new generation of bare knuckle fighters.

Brazil’s Joilton Lutterbach, a five-time MMA world champion, will also compete in Moscow. He will face Maksim Butorin (Russia), an experienced MMA fighter from Siberia and a former Fight Nights title challenger.

Another bout expected to draw attention will feature Timur “Fartovy” Abdurakhmanov (Russia), one of the most recognisable figures in the bare knuckle scene, against Alexander Perevyazko (Russia), a promising boxer facing one of the biggest tests of his career.

The card will also include Farid Yadullaev (Russia), a popular fighter and Russian kickboxing champion, who takes on Seryozha “Armenian Explosion” Harutyunyan (Armenia), an Armenian fighter with a boxing background.

Sulambek “The Scarlet Beast” Shakhgiriev (Russia), a world combat sambo champion, will meet Yassel Reyes (Cuba), one of the most dangerous knockout artists in IBA Bare Knuckle.

Yakov Bukin (Russia), an MMA fighter, will also make his appearance in a bare knuckle bout against Magomed “Aggressor” Abdurakhimov (Russia), a professional boxer and MMA fighter.

IBA Bare Knuckle 5 will bring together fighters from different countries and combat sports backgrounds. Representatives of Italy, Brazil, Germany, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Montenegro, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Belarus and Cuba will compete in Moscow, with fans set for a night of intense and fast-paced bare knuckle action.
