Mr. Viktor Kim, member of the AIBA Medical Commission and Chairman of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) Medical Commission, has passed away on May 21 at the age of 69. On behalf of the AIBA Family, we would like to convey our sincere condolences to the family and the Kazakh national federation for this very sad loss.

Kazakhstan’s Mr. Kim was born on February 20, 1949 and has served as ringside doctor and International Technical Official (ITO) in several national and international boxing tournaments before becoming member of the AIBA Medical Commission. Mr. Kim will be greatly missed by all those he worked with.
